• Documents you upload: Specification documents, submittals, RFIs, product data sheets, drawings, and other project files you upload for AI processing.

• Payment information: Billing details processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full credit card numbers.

Information Collected Automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, tool interactions, and timestamps.
• Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
• Log data: Server logs including error reports and API request data.
• Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies for your settings. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the ZoneTap AI platform and its tools.
• Process documents you upload using our proprietary AI agents to generate analysis reports.
• Authenticate your identity and manage your account.

We do not sell your personal information or documents to third parties. We do not use your uploaded project documents to train AI models.

DOCUMENT PROCESSING & AI PROVIDERS

When you use ZoneTap AI tools, your uploaded documents are processed by our AI infrastructure, which may utilize third-party cloud AI services operating under strict data processing agreements. Documents are transmitted securely over HTTPS and are not used to train AI models or retained beyond the scope of processing your request.

Your uploaded documents are stored securely in Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with access controls. Documents are retained for the period of your account activity and purged upon account deletion or as described in your service agreement.

DATA SHARING

We may share your information with:

• AI infrastructure providers: Cloud AI services used to power document analysis — subject to strict data processing agreements and confidentiality requirements.
• Cloud infrastructure: Amazon Web Services (AWS) — for hosting, storage, and email delivery.
• Authentication services: Auth0 — for secure login and identity management.
• Payment processors: Stripe — for billing. We share only what is required to complete transactions.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

We do not share your data with marketing companies, data brokers, or advertisers.

DATA SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, AWS S3 server-side encryption at rest, role-based access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your account information and uploaded documents for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@zonetap.com. Certain records may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.

ZoneTap AI is a professional platform intended for use by businesses and individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or a notice on the platform.
